5-HTP is an excellent choice that I found successful during my use. I tried several types from iHerb, all of which were positive, particularly for those experiencing serotonin deficiency, a symptom of depression. The improvement in my psychological state also alleviated my pelvic pain. I take it in the morning or at any time during the day, and it has no side effects except that symptoms return when I stop taking it. For anyone who has suffered from depression, do not give up; your strength lies in persevering through the darkness. Seek divine help and remember you are not alone.

The 5-HTP Time Release formula is excellent. I take 200 mg nightly for sleep alongside other supplements. It would be better if it were biphasic like Natrol melatonin, as this formula releases slowly over 12 hours. However, it helps ease my pelvic pain, even the following day. For those seeking an alternative to prescription sleep medications, this product works well without causing morning grogginess.

This product is one of the most effective I found based on numerous reviews. 5-hydroxytryptophan is a precursor to serotonin, the "happiness molecule". It helps reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality, and alleviate pelvic pain. It may also assist with weight loss. Do not take it alongside other serotonin medications. For sleep, I recommend 200-400 mg at bedtime. To enhance mood and reduce anxiety, take 1-2 capsules per day between meals, and for weight loss, take with meals. The recommended course is 6-12 weeks.

I'm thrilled to have discovered this product! 5-HTP dietary supplements boost serotonin levels in the brain. Since serotonin regulates mood and behaviour, 5-HTP positively impacts sleep, mood, anxiety, appetite, and pain sensation, including pelvic pain. 5-HTP isn't present in foods, although tryptophan is. This is a great quality supplement, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
